Kenneth Louis Wilson's Obituary
Kenneth Louis Wilson, born March 28, 1932 in San Bernardino , CA to Heber and Kathryn Jane [Tossetti] Wilson who preceded him in death; died April 2, 2009 in Las Vegas, NV. He was married to Bettye Lee Green on October 10, 1953 in Del Rio Texas. Kenneth is also survived by daughters Catherine Ann Poloynis, Cynthia Elaine (David ) Twist; grandchildren, Gregory and Achilles Poloynis, Shelley Marie (Nicholas) Carter, Christopher (Aimee) Twist, and Anthony (Leah) Twist; great-grandchildren, Madison and Avery Poloynis, Tyler Carter, Joseph and Gavin Twist, Lauryn and Shelby Twist; sisters; Sarah Jane Jackman and Linda Kathryn Meier and many other relatives and friends. Kenneth was a descendant of several pioneer families; Kenyon, Tossetti, Swarthout, et al. He was an active member in local churches serving as teacher, Sunday School Superintendant, Board Member, Usher and tour director, as well as contributing his expertise as an artist to props and décor for productions and social functions presented by the church. Kenneth served in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict as a Crew Chief (Sergeant) for jet aircraft leading to his 35 year civilian employment with General Electric Aircraft facility in Ontario, CA. He retired from there April 1, 1992. Visitation will be at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel 1299 E Highland Ave., in San Bernardino on Thursday, April 9th from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. Chapel services will also be at Bobbitt Chapel on Friday, April 10th at 10:00 AM with interment to follow at the Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, California
