Kenneth Ezra Troutman's Obituary
Kenneth Ezra Troutman, 74, a resident of Highland, went to be with the Lord on September 1, 2006 after a sudden illness. Ken was a native of Stouchburg, Pennsylvania, and served his country in the US Air Force for 22 years as an Air Traffic Controller. He was a Vietnam veteran. After retirement from the air force, he served in the Technical Division of the San Bernardino Valley College for 22 years. Additionally he volunteered at the Redlands Community Hospital and was a long time active member of the Highland Senior Center. He was a proud member and supporter of Immanuel Baptist Church. Ken was an avid hockey fan and if there was a piece of ice where hockey was being played, he was probably there. He is survived by his family and many friends. His wife of 49+ years Lucy, son Jim and wife Nona of San Diego, daughter Candy and husband Chris of Wrightwood, son Eric and wife Darla of Orange, and grandchildren, Brian, Colleen, Ben, Jenny, Candice, Cory, Brochton and Kayla, great grandchildren Nikki, Luke and Kayden. A celebration of life will be held on September 8, 2006 at Immanuel Baptist Church, 28335 East Baseline Rd., Highland, CA 92346 at 10:30AM. Hockey attire is acceptable.
