Kenneth Gene Carlson's Obituary
Kenneth Carlson, 71, passed away on July 8, 2011 in San Bernardino, CA. Originally from Denver, CO, Ken moved to San Bernardino in 1940 settling in Highland, CA. He served in the United States Air Force for over 20 years, and continued his passion for the military until his passing.
Ken was preceded in death by his youngest son Kevin.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Beverley, and children Kenneth Carlson Jr., of St. Louis, MO and Jacquie Brown of Las Vegas, NV; his brother and sisters; his step children, Kelly Tarango of Highland, CA, Denise Mitchell of Calimesa, CA and Terri Miller of Highland, CA. Also surviving him are his grandchildren, two great grandchildren and lots of extended friends and family.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 18 at 10:00 a.m. at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel, 1299 E. Highland Avenue, San Bernardino. Inurnment will follow at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd., Riverside, California, staging area 4.
