KEN CIMINO's Obituary
Ken Cimino PhD, 41, a lifetime resident of the San Bernardino area passed away Friday, June 20, 2008 at his home in Running Springs.
Ken was employed by Cal Trans in the Department of Transportation and Planning for the past 2 ½ years. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from U.C. Davis in History; a Masters degree in Public Administration from U.S.C.; Masters degree in the Arts, in Public Policy from Claremont Graduate University; and a Doctorate degree of Philosophy in Political Science from Claremont Graduate University. He was a member of SIGMA CHI Fraternity at U.C. Davis.
Following his education Ken taught Political Science at Crafton Community College, Valley Community College, Princeton University and Iowa State University.
Ken is survived by his parents, Jim and Sheila Cimino of Running Springs; brother, Anthony Cimino and his wife Jamie of San Bernardino; the following aunts and uncles: Beverly Whitman of Highland, Cherlene Camargo of Fontana, Charlene Kibbie of Doyle, CA, Leonard and Rama Cimino of Vacaville, CA, Frank Leonard of Tempe, AZ; and many Cousins.
A Viewing will be held Friday, June 27th from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and a Chapel service Saturday, June 28th at 11:00 AM, both at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel, 1299 E. Highland Avenue, San Bernardino.
