Kathryn "Kay" Liles' Obituary
Beloved wife and mother, passed away on February 20, 2013, at the age of 94. Kay was born in Laurium, MI, on June 18, 1918, to Angiolina and Hugo Baroni.
Her daughters, Janice K. Liles of San Diego, CA and Candice Liles Christensen of Aspen, CO, five grandchildren and one great grandson survive Kay.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, husband, Elvin “Sonny” Liles, daughter Pamella Merritt and grandson John “Curt” Strahle.
Kay lived in San Bernardino for 57 years. Using her business degree she worked for many companies including Coors distributing, Harris’ CO. and DeHart homes. Her hobbies include cooking and sewing, bible study, and caring for her family along with Pacific High School’s wrestling teams over the years her husband coached. Her love of nutrition is why we think she lived such a long life. She will be best remembered for her generosity, great laugh and listening to Frank Sinatra.
