Karen Kay Ellery's Obituary
Karen Kay Ellery (Crouch), 73, was born October 18, 1938 in Mineola, Kansas, passed away peacefully on Jan. 26, 2012 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Apple Valley, CA. She was an active member of the Quilt Guild of the High Desert, and volunteered at Community Hospital in San Bernardino. Karen spent her entire life in Rialto, CA, graduating from San Bernardino High School, before moving to Phelan, CA.
She was a devoted wife to John, and loving mother to her son, Michael Henderson (Suzie) of San Bernardino, CA., daughter Kristi Berry (Brad) of Phelan, CA, and stepson Stacey Ellery of Dallas, OR. In addition to her children, she is survived by grandchildren Ashley, Justin and Chase.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 1, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel, 1299 E. Highland Avenue, San Bernardino.
Interment will be private.
Donations can be made in Karen’s name to the Breast Cancer Awareness or the Heart and Lung Associations.
