Juveille D. Villar's Obituary
Juvy (known nickname to friends and family) was born in Roxa City, Capiz Philippines to Ricardo Diaz and Rosa Reasonda. She is a graduate of law school, homemaker raising five children and two nieces.
Juvy was an active community leader. She became the president of The Greater Inland Filipino Association and the International Council in the city of San Bernardino in the mid 90s. She worked with Telma Press, the secretary to Mayor Holcomb and Mayor Judith Valles where they collected toys that were distributed to children of under privilege during the holiday season. Because of her actions she was nominated by assembly man Joe Baca and became the California Legislator Woman of the Year of 1997.
Juvy was married to Romeo D Villar M.D. a practicing psychiatrist in San Bernardino and Riverside Counties. She is also survived by her five children, Pancho, Christina, Barnard (Cindy) Villar, Paul (Ade) Villar, and Octave (Elizabeth) King-Villar also including her two nieces Mariebelle (Logan) Hansen, and Jovee (Brooke) Eustaquio. She was a grandmother to twelve grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, December 6th from 5pm – 8pm at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel. San Bernardino, Ca. Rosary at 6 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m., Monday, Dec. 7, 2015 at St. Adelaide Catholic Church. Highland, Ca.
