Julie was my encourager -- she was full of joy for each moment -- each day she talked of the blessings of her family and friends -- I miss Julie but see her as called by God to help prepare the way for the rest of us--appreciation of life and enjoyment of what we've been given . I miss your laugh, Jules!

I don't even know how to react to the loss of one of my best friends for over 40 years. Inconceivable, a world where I can't pick up the phone and hear that English accent. Julie and I met in the 70's when she started part time where I worked. She hadn't worked a day in her life and I was assigned to indoctrinate her into the office. Luckily we both had a sense of humor because this was quite an assignment! From here we bonded over life in general; sharing dinners and wine at her house with our kids running around while we solved the world's problems as well as our own. We couldn't afford good wine at the time, so we bought cheap wine and mixed it with orange juice, a drink I still enjoy; in part because of the good memories of these times. I recommended her for the job at Johnson where she thrived and retired. We have shared divorce, death, love affairs, health issues, raising children, loving grandchildren, happiness and despair. Julie and I traveled through life together through the years. We may not have seen each other every day, but we always met for birthdays and Christmas along with our other best friend, Carol Chapman. You can't replace life long friends or the memories we shared. We can only cherish them, remember them and miss them forever. Julie and I shared a love of animals, especially our dogs, so I have made a donation to SPCA in her honor. My heart goes out to Monica, Sean and Tony, and I will be there for them any time, just as their mother was always there for me.
Julie was such a ray of sunshine in all our lives at Johnson Machinery. She always had a smile for all and knew how to make your day a little brighter. We girls would enjoy dancing as a group at the Johnson Christmas parties and will miss her so much this year. Julie, I know you are in a wonderful place and will always have a place in all our hearts. We love and miss you... Wilma Cox
It was so great when Julie and Dorothy would pass by our home on the 8th Tee, walking and pulling their golf carts. We had great admiration for them. Julie will be greatly missed by all her "golfing ladies". Condolences to her family and friends. Yvonne Adams
I knew Julie thru golfing with Sun Lakes Executive Golf Group. She always had a greeting for everyone and along with that greeting was her wonderful smile. My condolences to her family. Margo
Julie was so cute and always had a smile. When my parakeet was sick she was so concerned and always asked about her. A couple of months ago when I told her I was going to Spain she asked me if she could fit in my suitcase!! I was so shocked when I found out she passed away. My deep sympathy goes out to her family. I will miss her. I will keep the family in my thoughts and prayers. May you feel the comfort of God's Love surround you at this difficult time.
A sister in Christ,
