Julia Ann Muga's Obituary
Julia (Julie) Ann Muga, 57, of San Bernardino passed away on September 6, 2010 after a long illness. Julie was amazing in the fight against her illness so that she could be with her beloved family. In so doing, she enriched the lives all those with whom she came in contact during her illness.
Julie was born on September 10, 1952 in Frankfurt, Germany to Beatrice and Pedro Muga. She was the oldest of six children. She graduated from San Gorgonio High School in 1970. She then worked as a nurse for 30 years in Southern California caring for so many people. Julie took great pride in her work and shared her knowledge by teaching Red Cross classes. Her favorite place to live was in Santa Barbara where she worked for more than 10 years. Helping to raise her younger siblings instilled in her an endless supply of love and caring for others. Julie adored her nieces, nephews, and grand nieces and nephews.
Julie was the daughter of Beatrice and Pedro Muga of Highland, sister of Tony Muga and Richard Muga of San Bernardino, Manuel Muga of Thousand Oaks, Joe Muga of Escondido, and Patricia Muga of Pasadena, sister in law to Terri Price of Escondido, aunt to Elizabeth Muga (deceased), Matthew and Kim Muga of San Diego, Jennifer and Dennis Douglas of Redlands, David and Melissa Muga of Mentone, Jacqueline Muga of Highland, Rheanna Muga and Samantha Muga of San Bernardino, and Isabel Muga of Escondido. She was great aunt to Nathaniel, Lilly, Teddy, Beau, and Luke.
Private funeral services will be at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel, 1299 E. Highland Ave. San Bernardino, CA with interment at Montecito Memorial Park, Colton, CA.
