Judith Marie Martinez's Obituary
Judith Marie Martinez, 74, of Highland, CA, was born in Ottumwa, Iowa, on Sept. 14, 1941, and passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family, on February 17, 2016. Judy was an avid quilter, an enthusiastic Denver Broncos fan, and her favorite times were spent with her loving family and friends. She is survived by her devoted husband of 55 years, Gavino Martinez, CMSGT (Ret.), two daughters, Deborah (Carl) Alban and Kimberly Sitchler, eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers, John Bertsch and James (Belinda) Bertsch. Memorial services will be held Thursday, March 3, 2016, at 2 pm at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel, 1299 E. Highland Ave; San Bernardino, CA, followed by a reception at the American Legion Post 421, 28309 Highland Ave; Highland, CA. Private interment will be at Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, CA.
