Mrs. Josephine "Josie" Mushrush's Obituary
Josephine "Josie" Y. A. Mushrush, 66, of East Highland passed away peacefully at home on the morning of January 24, 2022. She was a dedicated mother and wife, and will be remembered for her fiery spirit. Josephine excelled as a homemaker, and also worked as an independent contractor for the San Bernardino County Sun for about 20 years. Mrs. Mushrush completed her ESL and secondary education at San Bernardino Valley College. Some of her favorite activities in this life included listening to KCAL, hostessing large parties, gardening, and DIY projects with her husband. She enjoyed cooking Filipino food from her Philippines homelands; her family will miss her pancit, lumpia and adobo. Josephine was a member of the St. Adelaide parish, where she and her husband celebrated the sacrament of holy matrimony, and their daughters received their sacraments.
Josephine is survived by her husband of 44 years, Randal; daughter Stephanie, of Los Angeles County; daughter Mollie, son-in-law Greg and their five children, all of Charlotte, NC.
Mrs. Mushrush's funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at 10 am, St. Adelaide Catholic Church in Highland, CA.
