Joseph Ray Gowdy's Obituary
Joseph Ray Gowdy, 90, a seventy year resident of San Bernardino County, passed away October 31, 2010, at his home in Rialto.
Joseph served Pacific Telephone for 37 years with distinction, retiring in 1983. He was a member os St. Catherine of Sienna Catholic Church in Rialto.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Colleen: a son, Thomas Gowdy (wife, Dolores), a daughter, Lucinda Reddoch (husband, Mark); a sister, AnnaBelle Dalton, nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and two much-loved dogs.
A viewing will be held, Thursday, November 4, 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., at the Bobbitt Memorial Chapel, 1299 E. Highland Avenue. The Mass of Resurrection will be held, Friday, November 5, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Catherine of Sienna Catholic Church, 339 Sycamore Avenue, Rialto. A reception will follow in Parish Hall. Interment will be private.
