Johnnie Michael Vasquez's Obituary
On August 5, 2019, Heaven gained the biggest Eagles fan, Johnnie Vasquez. Johnnie was born in San Bernardino, Ca and was 50 years old. He worked at Old Dominion for 11 years and spent his free time surrounded by his loved ones. When he wasn’t watching the Eagles play, he enjoyed spending time with his 2 kids, going on cruises and exploring new cities, playing poker with his sister in laws, nieces and nephews and cracking jokes with his family. He was a man who loved his sports, loved by all and will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He has a daughter, Aubrey, whom he raised with his best friend Gloria. He also helped raise Gloria’s son, Richard, whom Johnnie treated as if he were his own. Johnnie’s presence was apparent the moment he walked into a room, whether it was his height or his one of a kind laugh. Johnnie was preceded in death by his father, Manuel. He is survived by Gloria Diaz, his children Aubrey Vasquez, Richard Diaz, Katie, his mother Gloria Castriuta, his brother Raymond, 6 sister in laws and 3 brother in laws. As well as many nephews and nieces. Memorial service will be held on Thursday August 22nd at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel in San Bernardino. Viewing from 5p-7p with the rosary beginning at 7p. Funeral service will be held on Friday August 23rd at 10a at Our Lady of Hope also in San Bernardino. Followed by his final resting place at Montecito Memorial Park.
