I remember the days when we use to listen to Jack play the piano. Lucile (Ceille) and myself (DODO). We used to love camping , boating and fishing and playing games and staying in the big tents with all of the family's in Lake Elmo. I wasn't very old but I can still remember.
Rest In Peace Cousin

Jack was the oldest of 3 brothers and 1 sister in our family. I'm the youngest brother and now the only one left in the family. Jack was an avid piano player and had an ear for music. What amazed me was the fact that he had the ability to play a song through after hearing it one time on the radio. I'll cherish our long distant phone calls and computer video talks we had. Jack was a wonderful caring brother and I'll miss him dearly.
Rest in peace my brother,
Richard Mielke
My fondest memories of Jack are when he came to visit Minnesota a couple of times. He shared some photos of the family and one with my Grandpa Bernie Mielke and him when they were younger. I'm so glad he and Regina got to meet my daughter, pictured with me in one of the photos. I also shared a photo of Rich and Jack that I love.
He had an infectious smile, had a gift for telling great stories, and had the Mielke humor.
I also remember he spoke a lot about both of the loves of his life Sharon and Regina. My prayers are with you Regina as you find your way in this world without him.
I like to think he's visiting my Mom, Judy, my Grandparents, Bernie and Alice, Sharon, and all to many of the Mielke family that left us to be with God it seems like too soon. I rejoice that he's in God's arms now.
Sadly we aren't able to fly out there to California for the funeral, but he's not forgotten. I will always remember him with a smile. I know he's flying in heaven now.
