I was so looking forward to seeing Brad at one of our reunions. He was always apart of everything. The memories we had were priceless. Sports at Mission, parties in Irvine. Those Oxford shoes were his trademark that always stood out to me. When I was in Vietnam, I would talk to my buddies about Brad. How he dressed, how we joked around and played jokes on people. He was truly a very special person and it was a very special privilege to call him my friend. We'll do it again I'm sure at another time and another place. My heart is broken. RIP Brad, catch you on the flip side.
Our dear Brad... Always ahead of the curve, always one to admire and look up to, always smart. And I am just talking about a high school rock band. Showing up for band practice in a MVHS letterman jacket. Taking us to the music store and knowing which microphones to buy. And could you sing like a bird! You still can and are singing now with all the other great music people that have moved on to the biggest stage of all. You are gone yet you are not. Deep fondful memories never leave. I worked for Brad and his wife Liz at Fairfax Toyota in the late 80's. I was a strange looking and very awkward 18 year old trying to grow up and keep my head above water. They took a chance on me and I worked there for a few years before moving on.
It didn't matter to Brad what others said about me or acted towards me. He always treated me like a man and a human being. Never condescending or superior. For a teenager trying to figure stuff out, that was a big deal and something I will never forget and always try to emulate.
A good man and a great human being. He will be sorely missed but well remembered.

It was too short of a time, Brad. You are so, very, greatly missed. In that upbeat voice of yours all you had to do was call me "Big G!" and you lifted my spirits and made me feel special. My prayers go out to the family of Brad. He was a very nice man. He was one of the first people to say "Hi" to me when I first started at I-10 Toyota in 2015. He always came up to the business office and he made sure that he said hello to all of us and he would make us all laugh just by a funny comment or something that he was thinking about. I was very sad to hear of his passing. I really was hoping that he would be coming back to work here. He was such a pleasure to get to know and I will miss him dearly. May you all keep his memories close to your heart and he will always be with you all.
