Mr. John William Lloid's Obituary
John William Lloid passed away on June 12, 2016, in Highland, California at the age of 35.
John was born on April 23, 1981, in Fontana, California to Kenton E. Lloid and Ruth Eastburn. He grew up in Highland attending Thomas Elementary, Serrano Middle School and graduating from San Andreas High School, class of 1999. He went on to Crafton Hills College where he received his Associate of Arts Degree. During his time at Crafton John spent several months attending the University of London studying art and art history. John loved both art and the history of art and was fortunate during his stay in London to visit various museums and galleries in the area. He had hoped to continue his education and receive his Masters Degree.
As a child, John enjoyed Little League baseball, Cub Scouts, video games and speed skating. As an adult, he enjoyed snowboarding, fishing and always his art; his ultimate goal was to teach Art History. In his working life John worked as a glazier for many years, however, his passion was artwork and being a tattoo artist. His work will live on for many years on other who display his work. He would be proud of this.
John was most proud of his greatest achievement in his son Gavin. He loved him dearly and treasured their time together, playing with Legos, and watching movies together.
John was preceded in death by his father, Kenton E. Lloid and his grandparents.
He is survived by his son Gavin Ryder Lloid; his mother Ruth Eastburn; his siblings Jerry (Kim) Eastburn; Lindy Brantley, and Melissa Lloid. Also surviving him are his aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins
John will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
A Celebration of John’s life will be held on June 26th at 1:00 p.m. at Speicher Park on Pacific Avenue, Highland CA.
