Dearest Family Members
I am Janis Lively, a volunteer participating in an earth-wide work. I am truly sorry to hear about your loss, and would like to share with you the hope set out in the Bible for ones lost in death. As you probably know, death is due to Adamic sin, and our Father gave his only begotten son, our Savior Jesus Christ, so that we could live. Yes, we can look forward to seeing our loved ones resurrected to life, due to the Ransom. There are several instances in the Bible where Jesus and the prophets Elisha and Elijah resurrected persons, through empowerment by God’s holy spirit. This was done on a small scale then, but the scriptures speaks of a day when “all of those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.“ John 5: 28, 29
This is a sure hope for our dead loved ones, and I too look forward to this grand event. Until then, heartfelt prayer to Jehovah God (Psalms 83:18) in the name of our Savior Jesus Christ, can sustain us until we see them again in a resurrection to life.
Please take care of yourselves, and again, pray incessantly to our heavenly Father. I sincerely hope that this spiritual gift is a source of encouragement to you. (Please use your Bible to read the cited scriptures.)
With Love,
##imported-begin##Janis Lively##imported-end##
I want to send my sincere sympathy for your loss. I was a childhood friend of John Dumas III and I am Beverly Epperson's sister-in-law. My brother is Robert Prather. I have let Beverly know. She and my brother now reside in Henderson, Nevada.
