JOHN LLOYD CRARY JR.'s Obituary
John Lloyd Crary, 67, who played with over 30 professional and military orchestras in his career, passed away, December 30, 2006. A resident of Crestline, his love for music propelled his career across every continent and before presidents and heads of state. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Shriners, American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars, LA Police Concert Band and the Air Force Reserve Band. He retired in 1981 following 26 years of service as a musician in the United States Air Force. Survivors include: his wife of 21 years, April; 5 daughters, Jeanie Nantel of Parker, AZ, Stacey Stinzel of Crestline, Laura Arlett of North Carolina, Brenda Hagerman of Lake Arrowhead and Donna Smith of Crestline; 4 sons, Dennis Crary of Granby, CO, Cary Webb of Crestline, Zack Webb of Lompoc and John Crary of San Bernardino; 20 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Services will be held Wednesday, January 10, at 10:00 a.m., at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel, 1299 E. Highland Avenue. Burial will follow at 1:00 p.m., Riverside National Cemetery, Staging Area #5, 22495 Van Buren Blvd, Riverside.
