JOHN ROBERT CRAM's Obituary
John R. Cram, 80, passed away June 14, 2009 at Kaiser Permanente in Fontana. He is survived by Ella Dorthea, his beloved wife of nearly 60 years, sons John R. Cram Jr. of Riverside and Ronald L. Cram of Irvine, ten grandchildren, six great grandchildren and sister Jean Rowland of Wildomar, CA. Son Rob Cram passed away in 2007. After marrying in October 1949, he mustered out of the Marine Corps in January, 1950. He was a long-time business partner with his father-in-law, Lee Dodson. For many years, he served as President of Dodson's Auto Parts, Inc. and D.C. Automotive Warehouse, Inc. in Highland. CA. As a devoted follower of Jesus Christ, he served as soloist for the Railroad Gospel Hour Radio Program in the 1950s and 60s and a guest soloist for many church revivals in southern California. He was a long-time member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Highland. He also served as Minister of Music for several churches including Sterling Baptist in San Bernardino, Bryant Street Baptist in Calimesa, First Baptist Church in Colton and San Bernardino Baptist Church. A memorial service will be held June 18 at 11 am at Immanuel Baptist Church at 28355 E Baseline in Highland.
