My thoughts go out to you for the loss of your father. I do hope his passing was peacefull. I know how difficult it is to lose a parent. I don't know if there are many of Dad's "old cronies" still with us. I did visit with Fred Hauck last summer. They were doing great.
From the obituary information your Dad was involved and active in many areas. Sounds like he left a great legacy.

Sorry about your loss. It is interesting that just over a year ago I talked with your Dad and told him about my father passing away and sent him a package of materials from the service. I will always remember teasing your Dad when I was a young boy and he could not chase me do to the knee surgery he just had. He kept me busy getting him hot towels to put on his knee that year in Tahoe. I really enjoyed his humor and treating me like I was equal to him regardless of our age difference. Hey maybe he thought it was time for him to follow his old time friends. I guess Fred Hauck is about the only one left from the SF Bay Area. ##imported-begin##Kevin Atwood##imported-end##
