December 8, 1931 – June 1, 2023 of San Bernardino, CA. John was a surveyor for the State of California, Cal Trans District 8 for 38 years. He is preceded in death by his parents John and Pauline Anderson. he is survived by his sister Betty Romano, sons John Michael (Liza), Mark (Darla), Kevin (Elsa). Grandchildren John R (Crystal), Armando (Estephanie), Heather (Josh), Amanda (Ethan), Matthew (Courtney), Nicholas (Dana), Marci (Larry), Marissa (Fabian). Great-grandchildren Justin, Savannah, Armando III, Wyatt, Elias, Reagan, Wade, Eleanor, Wesley, Eric, Emilia. John was a 54 year member and past president of the Native Sons of the Golden West, member of the Phoenix Masonic Lodge 178, San Bernardino Elks Lodge #836, Quarter Century Club, Scottish Rite Temple, Al Malaikah Shrine, High Twelve, 65-year member of St Paul’s United Methodists Church, Past President of the San Bernardino Shrine Club.
A Visitation will be held on Friday, June 9th at 10:00 am followed by a Chapel Service at 11:00 am at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel in San Bernardino.
