JOANNE ELAINE PROFANT's Obituary
Joanne Elaine Profant, 74, born and raised in Massillon, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 21, 2008. Joanne was a resident of San Bernardino for the past 40 years, where she worked in real estate and also as a bookkeeper.
A member of Immanuel Baptist Church, she especially enjoyed the Quilting Circle. She was also a member of the San Bernardino Emblem Club #178, the Highland Senior Center and Kaiser Better Breathers. Joanne touched the lives of many and took in anyone that needed a place to call home. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother that always put others before herself. She loved to cook for her family and was a devout Christian. Although she will be greatly missed, her love will continue to touch the lives of those that she left behind.
Joanne is survived by her husband of 54 years, John Profant; two sons, Jim Profant of San Bernardino and Robb Profant of Mission Viejo; two daughters, Judi Adams and Joan Valle, both of San Bernardino; 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
A viewing will be held Sunday, November 30, 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel, 1299 E. Highland Avenue. A graveside service will be held, Monday December 1st at 10:00 a.m. at Montecito Memorial Park, Barton Road and Waterman Avenue, Colton. A Memorial Service will follow at 11:30 a.m. at Immanuel Baptist Church, 28355 E. Baseline, Highland.
