Mrs Joan Y. Carpenter's Obituary
Joan Y. Carpenter, 83, passed away on March 3, 2015, after a short battle with liver cancer. Originally from Ohio, Joan had lived in the Inland Empire for the last 52 years. She was very active with the Presbyterian Church and the Daughters of the American Revolution and served on and chaired numerous committees.
She was preceded in death by Dean, her husband of 54 years.
She is survived by her three children Lynn Martin of Oregon, Diane Alfeld of Vallejo and David Carpenter of Apple Valley. Also surviving her are her grandchildren Phillip (Lara) Martin, Darlene (Dan) Boresch, Katy Martin, Stefanie (Dwayne) Swoboda, Rachel (Michael) Bernal, Britany Carpenter; her step grandchildren John Thompson, Tanya Lyons and Starsun Fincel; and her seven great grandsons.
Burial will be private at Mt. View Cemetery
