Jewell Young's Obituary
Jewell Evelyn Young was born to Lottie May and Sandy Winfrey on Oct 22, 1925 in Clovis, New Mexico. She was the seventh of eight children and has outlived all of her siblings, reaching the distinguished age of 95. She was married on Jan 10, 1944 in Clovis, New Mexico to Earl Howard Young.
Evelyn passed away on Sept 14, 2021 in Yucaipa, California where she had lived for the last 9 years, she was a resident of San Bernardino for 68 years.
She was proceeded in death by her husband Earl Howard Young, and good friend and travel companion Willard Monninger. She is survived by her two sons James H Young and Donald K Young and 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren a 1 great great granddaughter.
She was a wife, mother and homemaker for her family, who enjoyed traveling, china painting and working outside in her yard.
She was a member of Saint Paul’s United Methodist Church and a member of the Utilitarian Sunday school class.
