We have all lost one of the dearest and kindest person's you would ever want to know. Jerry was not only a good friend but a patient as well. His contributions to this community as well as Civitan L.L. will always be remembered. His smile was contagious and his warmth and sincerity were infectious. We have truly admired Jerry for how he had endured his numerous health concerns with a smile and a positive attitude. We were deeply saddened to hear of the loss of your Husband, Son, Grandfather and Brother Jerry. We still have fond memories of Jerry and Catherine and other Bruyneel's; bowling with them at Tava Lanes and having a late dinner at Denny's Restaurant. Jerry was like his father in so many ways. He was always smiling and a very happy person.

A lot of people don't know this but Jerry helped me get my first line of credit with C.L.Pharris Ready Mix, some 23 years ago, he told his bosses to take a chance on me and they did. Jerry was a great man that I admired and respected. His commitment to Little League BB and the community in which Jerry served should be viewed as the highest standard for involvement.
I met Jerry when he worked at CMEX and reconnected when I joined Civitan LL several years later, he always remained the same person. You could always count on Jerry being honest, fair, non-judgmental, respectful and he continually led by example.
