Jerome “Sam” E. Hodges, Retired MSgt; 61, of Highland, CA; passed away on Thursday, August 9, 2007 in Highland. He is survived by his wife, Nida Hodges, daughter, Marian Hodges of San Jose, CA; son, Vincent Hodges of Monterrey, CA; daughter, Andrea Hodges of Upper Marlboro, MD; son, Stephen Hodges of Highland, CA; daughter, Yolanda Hodges of Los Angeles, CA; daughter, Chanda Hodges of Highland, CA. Grandchildren, Damien Gonzalez, Isabella Hodges and Brianna Hodges. He is also survived by his sister, Eloise Jones, brothers, Milton Carr and James Carr all of St. Petersburg, FL. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, August 16, 2007 at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel, 1299 E. Highland Ave. San Bernardino, CA; with funeral services at 11 a.m., Friday, August 17, 2007 at Life Changing Ministries, 5395 North “F” St. San Bernardino, CA. Interment to follow at Riverside National Cemetery, staging area 8, 22495 Van Buren Blvd. Riverside, CA.
