Mrs Jeanette Marie Catalina's Obituary
Jeanette 'Jean' (Arena) Catalina was born on November 7, 1926 in Astoria, Oregon to James and Lydia Arena. She graduated from High School in 1944 and moved to Southern California around 1949.
Soon after arriving in Southern California, she met the love of her life, Robert A. Catalina. He soon wooed her and they eloped within six short months. They eventually settled in San Bernardino in 1950. Their only child Michael was born in 1959 making their family complete.
Jean and Robert loved to gamble and traveled often to State Line and Laughlin. They also enjoyed weekends in Solvang and trips to Oregon to visit family.
Jean worked as a waitress/cashier but her main occupation was homemaker to her beloved family.
She was preceded in death by her Robert, her husband of 65 years.
She is survived by her son Michael and daughter in lay Sheryl Catalina. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
