Jean Loretta Jure's Obituary
Jean Loretta Jure, 91, of San Bernardino, CA passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2011 in San Bernardino. She is survived by her son, Curt (Anne) Jure of San Bernardino, a daughter, Susan (David) Hazzard of Manhattan Beach, CA, 6 grandchildren, Jake Jure, Hanna Jure, Zachary Jure, John Hazzard, Greg Hazzard and Kent (Allie) Jure, 3 great grandchildren, Hunter Jure, Chloe Jure and Sierra Jure. She was preceded in death by her husband, E. J. Jure on April 5, 1976, and oldest son, Craig Jure on June 15, 2010. Jean is survived by Craig’s wife, Geri Jure of San Bernardino.
She moved to Rialto, CA from PA as a young girl and graduated from San Bernardino High School. She later received a diploma in cosmetology from San Bernardino Valley College. She worked as a cosmetologist until marrying E. J. Jure in 1946 and thereafter helped him in starting the E. J. Jure Roofing Company, which was later operated by their son and daughter in law, Craig and Geri Jure.
A private graveside service will be held at Montecito Memorial Park, Colton, CA. The family wishes to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers during this time of sorrow and gives a special thanks to her long time care giver and friend, Judy Geiger.
