Jean G. Hoffman's Obituary
Jean Hoffman was born 05-30-23 and died 03-03-14 with her daughter and son in law at her side. She was 90 years old.
Jean was born to Italian immigrants, Guilio and Lorretta Marchioli, in Newark, New York.
She was the mother of 5 children, 14 grand children, & 8 great grand children.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bert Hoffman, aunts, uncles, cousins and 2 grand sons.
When she came to live in California she worked in the bakery & coffee shop in Sages in San Bernardino. That is where she met her husband and together they owned and operated BJ’s Coffee Shop in San Bernardino and the Java Tree Restaurant in Redlands until the late 80’s.
She became a cashier at Dodson’s Auto Parts in Highland, CA where she worked until she retired.
Jean loved reading, cooking, and playing cards with friends, listening to music, trying out new restaurants and spending time with her grandchildren.
