JANET KATHERINE TAEGER's Obituary
Janet Kathrine (Walsh) Taeger age 71 passed away October 16, 2009 due to complications resulting from Cancer. Janet was born March 2, 1938 in Waltham Massachusetts. Janet graduated from Wareham High School and on June 29, 1957 she married Wayne Hudson Taeger of New London, Iowa at St Patrick’s Cathedral in Wareham. In October 1958 the couple moved from Massachusetts to New London Iowa. They lived in Iowa from 1958 until 1972. In October 1972 the Taeger’s moved to Redlands California and eventually settled in their present home in Mentone in 1976. Janet was employed at Yucaipa Valley County Water District for 26 years and retired in 1998. In May 2006 her husband Wayne passed away after nearly 49 years of marriage. Janet is survived by her daughters Lynn Snodgrass of Beaumont California and Cheryl and her husband Mark Schreckengost of Parker Arizona, her granddaughter Amanda and her husband David Scott of Oceanside California, grandson Jason Rellinger, of Parker Arizona, her great grandson Kaden-David Scott of Oceanside, a sister Mary (Walsh) Rodgers of West Richland, Washington, a brother Richard J. Walsh of Rockland Massachusetts. She was the sister of the late Maureen (Walsh) Swerrus of Chadbourn North Carolina. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Friday, October 23, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Bobbitt Courtyard Chapel 1299 E. Highland Ave., San Bernardino. Inurnment will be private.
