JANET ADELLA MILES's Obituary
Janet A. Miles, 107, was born April 5, 1901 in San Bernardino, living in the family home for 94 years. Janet was educated in the San Bernardino schools. In 1930, she married Raymond Coffey. She later married Bill Miles in 1940. She associated with her husband Wm. D. Miles in the bee business and other organizations. She was a charter member of the Business and Professional Women. She attended the First Presbyterian Church from childhood on. She loved music, attended many concerts in the area and traveled extensively. She moved to Santa Barbara in 1993 to live with her niece, Adabeth Holcombe. Janet authored two books, one a family history, the other on the history of San Bernardino. She just celebrated her 107th birthday with her family. Janet contributed much to her church and family. We will all miss her greatly. Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at Pioneer Cemetery, 211 East 9th Street, San Bernardino.
