JAMES DENNIS STRONG's Obituary
James D. Strong, 68, born August 25, 1940 Highland park IL, died May 22, 2009 at Redlands Community Hospital, Redlands, CA after an illness. Jim has been a resident of Redlands since 1982 and recently retired for the Count of Riverside Department of Social Services Beloved husband, father and grandfather, he is survived by his wife of 45 years, Barbara of Redlands, daughter Dianne Luine and Lori Strong and son Robert Strong all of Redlands. Also survived by six grandchildren, Gabrielle, Melanie, Elena, and Nicholas Luine all of Redlands, and Marcus Strong and Nevaeh Carroll also of Redlands, A seventh grandchild, Anthony Luine preceded him in death in 2001. Funeral services will be held Friday May 29, at 1:00 p.m. at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel, 1299 E. Highland Ave. San Bernardino, CA 92404. burial will be Monday June 1 at 10:00 a.m. at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd, Riverside, CA 92518.
