James "Smitty" Smith
Jim lost his battle with his illness, December 4, 2012. Jim Retired from the US Air Force in 1983, then went to work at Edwards Air Force Base as a civil servant Until 2000. Smitty was an active member of the American Legion post 421. Jim leaves behind his wife Pam, 3 children, 1 daughter in law, 1 son in law, 5 grandchildren, brothers, sisters & many friends Jim will be sadly missed. Services will be held at Riverside National Cemetery, on Thursday, January 3, 2012 beginning at 10:15, followed by a celebration of his life at the American Legion 421 in Highland.
