JAMES ROSS PAULSON's Obituary
James Ross Paulson died on 13 October 2008 at age 69. Jim was born in Duluth, Minnesota on 22 December 1938 to his late parents Melvin and Kathryn Paulson. Jim was a San Bernardino resident for the past 56 years. A graduate of San Bernardino Valley College (SBVC) Class of 1959, he served as the Student Manager for both the baseball and wrestling teams. He became the college’s Athletic Equipment Manager in 1962, a job he kept until 1997. During his time at SBVC, Jim served as the equipment manager for over 10,000 athletes and coaches. He was inducted into the SBVC Hall of Fame in 1997. Jim touched many lives during his 35-year career and will be greatly missed by those who knew him.
James is survived by his sister, Margaret “Sue” Noerr (nee Paulson), nephew, Chris Casdin and wife Jessica, niece, Mary-Kathryn Haddad and husband Michael, and great-nephews, Aidan Casdin and Kieran Haddad, and great-niece, Abby Casdin. They live in the Washington, D.C. area. The public viewing will be at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel (Highland Ave) on Thu, 16 Oct, 4pm-7pm, and the funeral will be on Fri, 17 Oct at 10am.
