JAMES "JIM" EDWARD PETAISHISKI's Obituary
James (Jim) Petaishiski, beloved and cherished father, brother, and friend, was called home to his loving heavenly father on March 13, 2007. His final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that he had touched in many ways throughout his memorable life. He was born March 15, 1957 in San Bernardino to Ellie and John Petaishiski. Jim was the youngest of four. He was preceded in death by his mother Ellie, brother Arthur and nephew Johnny.He is survived by his daughter, Jayme, son Ryan, sister Margaret Wendt, brother John Petaishiski and numerous nieces and nephews. Jim took great delight in entertaining and teasing those who came to visit, and we appreciated his sharp sense of humor and playfulness for what it really was - love and affection. He loved having a good time, playing and watching sports, and was an avid 49ers fan. With Jim’s passing, we remind others that his life is one to be celebrated, although we will miss him everyday, especially his playful, vibrant smile and quick wit, he will always remain in our hearts forever. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday March 17, 2007 at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel, 1299 E. Highland Ave. San Bernardino, CA 92404. Inurnment will be Private
