Jack Threet Barnes Jr. ,62, passed away suddenly on September 23, 2008 in San Bernardino, CA. Born in Portsmouth, VA, Jack spent the last 32 years of his life in San Bernardino County.
He was a proud United States Marine and served his country in Vietnam and around the world. He was a member of the Disabled Veterans of America. Jack is survived by Elaine, his loving wife of almost forty years and his two loving daughters Eelisa Barnes and Jolena Grider (Mark) all of San Bernardino, CA.
A funeral service to honor Jack’s life and legacy will be held on Friday September 26, 2008 at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd, Riverside, CA 92518 at 10:30 a.m. at Staging Area 6.
