Mr. Jack Acker (1st LT at the time) served in the Korean War with my father-in-law John V Russo, 2nd LT (at the time), also a Navigator. They both were part of "A" Flight in the 729th Bomb Squadron, 452nd Bomb Wing. My father-in-law has paperwork showing they were granted R&R 27 January 1951 at the Miyako Hotel, Kyoto; and again on 18 February 1951.
