Mr Irving Charles Thornburg's Obituary
Irving Charles Thornburg, 93, a 70 year resident of San Bernardino, CA, passed away at St. Bernardine Medical Center on Monday, August 10, 2015. Irving was born in North Dakota to Herbert and Martha Thornburg. He was a United States Merchant Marine and later worked as a Mail Room Superintendant for the Sun Newspaper for 32 years. Irving was recently preceded in death by his loving wife Marguerite Thornburg of 72 years on May 31, 2015. He is survived by his daughter Lisa Rae Thornburg of San Bernardino, CA. A visitation will be held at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel on Friday, August 28, 2015 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Irving will be laid to rest with Marguerite on Friday, August 28, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Montecito Memorial Park in Colton, CA
