Ignacio “Chito” Martinez, 80, passed away August 8, 2006 at Corona Regional Medical Center. Ignacio was born July 31, 1926 in Riverside County. He was a lifetime resident of San Bernardino and a Freight Car Repairman for Santa Fe Railroad for 25 years. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Gloria Martinez; 2 step daughters, Jackie DiBacco Bock (Gary) of Corona, Gloria DiBacco of Los Angeles; step son, Caesar DiBacco of Pittsburg, PA; 2 daughters, Terry Martinez (Louie) of San Bernardino, Stella Gonzales (Jesse) of Las Vegas; son, Tony Martinez (Stella) of San Bernardino; 20 grandchildren, Yvonne Perez (Gabriel), Vanessa, Alfred, Jennifer, Gabriel, Matthew, Francine all of Highland, Michelle, Lea, Fernando all of Corona, Julie, Stellita, Michelle, Sandy all of Las Vegas, Yolanda, Henry, Joseph, Irene, Margo, Anthony all of San Bernardino; Numerous Great Grandchildren, Great Great Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews. Rosary will be held Wednesday, August 16, 2006 at 7:00 PM with a visitation starting at 5:00 PM at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel, 1299 E. Highland Avenue, San Bernardino. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1430 W. 5th Street, San Bernardino. Interment will follow at Riverside National Cemetery, Staging area #4. Following the services everyone is invited to a reception at the Fraternal Order of Eagles Lodge, 895 E. 9th Street in San Bernardino.
