Gone but not forgotten. In the late 70’s pastor Davis would sing “I’ll live on, through eternity I’ll live on”. Pastor your words your heart your spirit still visit the corridors of my soul. Thank you sir for your contribution to whosoever will.
Dear Glenna and family,
I want to tell you that our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Your father was a wonderful man that will be missed by so many in so many ways! I will miss him as my Pastor. That wonderful, "safe" feeling that was he brought with him every time he was near will be sorely missed. I'm so thankful that God placed our family in his hands back in 1964. I've always been proud of my Pastor, and that we were "Davis-ites" it was an honor! I will do all that I can do to live up to his teaching, and his example as a true Christian. I'm looking forward to the day when I can see him and your dear mother, and Sis June Davis again... In a place where well never grow old... No more pain.. No more sickness, or sorrow! That sounds like home to me! Love you, my friend!
Feeling the loss in the passing over of our dear family friend, Rev. Howard Davis. A hero..a great man of faith, integrity, & compassion. I have so many wonderful memories of him & the San Bernadino, CA church during my evangelistic days in Southern Cal and sojourn in LA County at Life Tabernacle of Bell Gardens. Bishop Howard Davis allowed me to play, sing and preach at the church as a young person, as a sectional youth leader and as an evangelist. ... I remember him looking me in the eye & imparting a 'word of wisdom' and then smiling at me and encouraging me to continue on!!! We were so blessed to also have him come by and be with us here in Benton, AR. I will always appreciate how he impacted me, my family and my ministry. Our love and prayers are with the family, church and friends. Sorry that we are not able to be there at this time.
