HIGHLAND. Homer Preston Turner, 82, a 69 year resident of Highland, died on May 2, 2017, in Highland, CA. He was born on August 8, 1934, in Coalton, Jackson County, OH. Homer was called ‘Uncle Homer’ by everyone because he was helpful to everyone. A caring, kind-hearted, sensitive person, who was loved and kindly thought of by his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents George and Ella Mae Turner.
Survivors include his sisters Evelyn Cofrancesco of Highland, CA, Nancy Yardley of Utah. His nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 12, 2017, at 1:30 p.m. at Mt. View Cemetery, 570 E. Highland Ave. San Bernardino, CA. Services are entrusted to Bobbitt Memorial Chapel.
