Hershel Morris Swedlove's Obituary
Hershel “Morris” Swedlove, 83 a former Fontana resident for 55 years passed away on Monday, March 5, 2012 in Redlands. He is survived by his wife Caroldyne of 59 years, 3 sons, Sheldon, Randall and David, 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, he was preceded in death by his son, Jerome in 2005. Funeral services will be on Thursday, March 8, 2012 at 10 a.m. at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel, 1299 E. Highland Ave. San Bernardino, CA with interment at Home of Peace Cemetery, L.A., CA. Hershel and his wife, co-founded Morris Automotive Supply in Fontana where they operated it until his retirement in 2001. Currently, his sons Randall and David operate the business. He belonged to the Kiwanis Club in Fontana and Redlands, Exchange Club in Fontana and joined the Woodchucker’s wood carving club in Riverside.
