Hattie Mae Reid's Obituary
Hattie Mae Reid, was born on February 13, 1946 in Windsor (Hertford County) NC to the late Joseph and Hattie Reid.
Hattie fell asleep in death on Wednesday: January 14, 2026 at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Fontana CA. Hattie was preceded in death by four brothers Joseph “Joe”, Edward, Horace, Augustus “Lenbird”; and four sisters Minnie, Mary “Seabird”, Beulah and Wilma. She leaves behind a sister Patsy “Pat” Owens of Highland CA, a brother-in-law Walte “Bernard” Whie of Hampton VA, ad a host of nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces to cherish her memory.
Hattie had a special love for children and people in general. She loved to attend her adult daycare program, eating at Red Lobster, bright colors, coloring and getting her hair and nails done. She had a special love for listening and especially dancing to the beat of R & B music.
