HAROLD E. YOUNG, JR.'s Obituary
Harold E. young, Jr. 78, passed away at his home in San Bernardino on July 16, 2009. Originally from St Louis, MO, Harold had lived in San Bernardino for the past 53 years. He was a retired Tech Sgt. in the United States Air Force for ten years and worked as a Tax Consultant for 25 plus years.
Harold was very active in the community when he was younger. He was a past Master of Masonic Lodge #178 in San Bernardino and a member of various organizations including York Rite, Scottish Rite, Al Malaikah Shrine, National Sojourners and High Twelve. He was also an ambassador for the San Bernardino Area Chamber of Commerce and was active in the Boy Scouts of America Association.
He was survived by Lyn his loving wife of 59 years, his three children Harold Young (Peggy) of Washington, Sandra Hadley (Howard) of Washington and Robert Young (Becky) of Arizona. Also surviving him are his 4 grandchildren Lupe Ortiz, Cassandra Kittle, Marilyn Hendrick and Hawk Young together with lots of great grandchildren and many friends.
A memorial service to honor Harold’s life will be held at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel, 1299 E. Highland Ave., San Bernardino, Ca 92404 on Friday, July 24 at 10:30 a.m. Inurnment will be private at Riverside National Cemetery.
