Gray Kinnier, Jr.
Age 86, was born March 20, 1925 in Spalding, NE, and died after a brief illness on June 14, 2011 in Redlands, CA. He was in the Navy, and graduated from Univ. of Nebraska. He married Mary E. Derrick in 1946 and they had 5 children. He contracted Polio in 1952. The family moved to California in 1955. He served as Deputy Director of Procurement for the Ballistic Missile Division at Norton Air Force Base and retired in 1984, completing 30 years of service to the U.S. Air Force. He was a faithful member of First Presbyterian Church of San Bernardino for 55 years. He was active in the San Bernardino BPOE, Elks, and Redlands Knights of the Roundtable. He was preceded in death by his dear wife Mary, in 2010, and his parents. He is survived by his 5 children, Kathy Keith, Gray, Mark,Scott and Karen Zelazo, 9 grandchildren, his sister, Betty Balderson of NE and his brother-in-law Wm. derrick of New York. Visitation will be at the Bobbitt Memorial Chapel on Saturday from 9-2pm. The memorial service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church of San Bernardino.
