Gladys Irene Mitchell's Obituary
Gladys I. Mitchell, 83, of Highland, died August 11 in Redlands. A native of Okemah, Oklahoma, she came to California in 1941. She was a proud member of the Retail Clerks Union and a longtime employee of Stater Bros. She volunteered for the St. Bernardine’s Auxiliary and was active in many civic organizations.
Survivors include her son, Donald R. Mitchell, daughters, Janice L. Frank, Kathryn S. Kleven, and Saundra K. Swanson, brother Jack Garrett, sister Lucille Weaver, 5 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.
