Gerald (Jerry) F. Krause's Obituary
Jerry passed away on Friday, May 31, 2024 in Redlands, Ca. at the age of 94. Jerry is survived by his wife Patricia Krause, brother Richard Krause, son Rick Krause and daughter Jari Ann Krause-Thain, step-children Robb Crews and Robin Evans, his grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces’ and nephews.
Jerry served in the United States Army, Infantry Division, during the Korean War and he also served in the National Guard.
Jerry was born on October 1, 2029 in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin to Albert Krause and Elizabeth (Dallman) Krause. He is preceded in death by his parents and three brothers. In 1957 he moved to Redlands, Ca. with his immediate family to work for a company testing vacuum tubes. He also was employed at Metropolitan Insurance Co. as a sales agent. From 1972-2005 Jerry was employed at Alger Manufacturing Co. until his retirement.
Jerry enjoyed woodworking, golf, tennis, hiking, and was an avid Green Bay Packers fan.
There will be a committal service at Riverside National Cemetery on August 13, 2024; service will be private.
