George J. Einfeldt's Obituary
Mr. George Einfeldt, of Highland, California, died April15, 2014. He was the loving husband of Jean Einfeldt; a wonderful and devoted son, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. Born March 31, 1933 in Chicago, IL he was the son of the late Ellen and August Einfeldt of Chicago, IL.
He was a 1951 graduate from Antioch High School located in Antioch, IL. He roller-skated competitively in his earlier years, even performing in Roller Derbies. He was a member and highly active in St. Adelaide Catholic Church in Highland, CA.
George was the patriarch to his family. He was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ, a loving husband to his wife and family and a mentor to countless number of friends across the United States.
Surviving are his loving wife, Jean, and her daughters, Sharon Bartling, Concord, CA; Laura Heaney and husband Paul, Cleveland, OH: Brien Einfeldt, San Diego, CA: Scott Einfeldt and wife Lynn Atlanta, GA; thirteen grandchildren: Jeanette Woodson, Amber Rickard, Daniel Rickard, Devin Einfeldt, Hillary Einfeldt, Nathaniel Einfeldt, Alexa Mueller, Douglas Mueller, Kevin Barling, Cullen Einfeldt, Sheaelle Einfeldt, Samantha Wentling, Parker Einfeldt; four great grandchildren: Serenity Clarke, Star Rickard, Ben Woodson and Makayla Woodson; two sisters: Susan and Jim Gleason, Spring Hill, FL; Lois Shovlain, Tallahassee, and several nieces and nephews.
He will be missed by all who loved him so very much. George was a true treasure who loved to work, go on cruises and spend time with his family and friends.
