George Mark Boldi's Obituary
George Mark Boldi was born on June 4, 1954 in Montgomery Alabama to George and Caroline Gene Boldi. He passed away on September 4, 2015 in San Bernardino, California
Mark was the first child of George and Caroline Gene. As an Air Force brat, he lived with his family at posts in Germany, Nebraska, and California and also served in the Air Force. While posted in Germany, Mark explored Europe on his motorcycle or hitch-hiking and regaled us with stories of his adventures.
After his stint in the Air Force was over, Mark started working as a CNC machinist and soon found his niche in the new field of CAD/CAM programming, in which he excelled.
He married Kathleen McCalla in 1981 and their beloved sons were born in 1985 and 1988. Mark delighted in his sons and was proud of the men they have become and supportive of their aspirations; Sam in music and Daniel in engineering.
After living in southern California for many years, Mark moved to Ensenada, Mexico, until failing health caused the end of his career and a return to the U.S.
Mark was preceded in death by his father George Boldi and sister Jacqueline Gene and survived by mother Caroline Gene, brother John Michael, Sons George Samuel and James Daniel, former wife Kathleen McCalla, and numerous relatives and friends. We will all miss him.
A committal service will be held at Riverside National Cemetery on Thursday September 17, 2015 at 11 a.m.
