Garrilee "Sissy" Buster Reif's Obituary
Garrilee "Sissy" Buster Reif 75, went home to be with The Lord, April 27, 2015. She closed her eyes here on earth to take a nap and opened them in heaven!
Born in Inglewood CA in 1939, she later moved to Arcadia CA. She attended Arcadia High School until moving to Redlands in 1956, where she graduated Redlands High School in 1957. She attended college at the University of Redlands, Cal-State, San Jose, SBVC, and Cal-State, San Bernardino where she graduated with a BA and obtained a teaching credential.
Sissy loved football and was a die hard USC fan. She married two idiots but had some great kids. She went on to work as a kindergarden teacher at Belvedere Elementary School where she taught for over 25 years. She loved teaching kindergarden!
She is survived by her daughter, Palmyra "PJ" Baker, and son Ronnie Paul Reo Reif, daughter in law, Lisa Reif, and 3 granddaughters Hallie Jane Baker, Kera Arias and Kendra Reif; her brother, Robert "Buzz" Buster, sister in law, Marilyn Buster and many cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Sissy will be remembered for her great sense of humor, infectious laugh, and her unconditional love for her family, friends and many students. She will be greatly missed by all.
Interment will be private at Mt. View Cemetery, San Bernardino.
